Anaphylaxis
Anaphylaxis is a very serious and potentially life-threatening allergic reaction. The following link explains the condition and the need for a proper action plan if you have severe allergy or are potentially at risk of Anaphylaxis.

In Australia and New Zealand approximately:• 1 in 3 people develop allergies at some time during life • 1 in 5 will develop atopic dermatitis • 1 in 6 will have an attack of hives (urticaria) • 1 in 20 will develop food allergy • 1 in 100 will have a life-threatening allergy known as anaphylaxisAnaphylaxis affects 5-8% of children and 1% of adults. Symptoms include:• all over rash • swelling of tongue or throat • trouble breathing • gut cramps • diahorrea • vomiting • shock (drop in blood pressure)Effective management of allergy includes diagnosis by an allergist, identification of possible reactions and appropriate treatment. Avoidance of allergens is the key to reducing the effect from allergy and improving the quality of life for those living with allergy.
